Mason Greenwood set for Old Trafford exit?
Leaked information that Greenwood would return to the Red Devils’ first team received a huge amount of backlash before the club made a U-turn and agreed that his future would be away from Old Trafford.
However, with the transfer deadline just hours away there is an awareness that a move may be difficult to get over the line.
Serie A side Lazio have also held talks over a loan switch this afternoon, however, the Italian transfer deadline has now passed.
As reported by Soccer Times, contact was made by Besiktas but an offer was not forthcoming.
Greenwood has not played a professional match since January 22 2022.
