Manchester United are set to announce the signing of Sergio Reguilon on a loan deal on deadline day.
The Red Devils agreed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur to take the full-back on a season-long loan, and the Spanish defender completed his medical on Thursday.
Sergio Reguilon set to be unveiled as Man United player
According to Fabrizio Romano, the official announcement will be made on Deadline Day.
The Red Devils were in the market for a left-back after it was announced that Luke Shaw would be out until at least November.
Diogo Dalot played in the position in the club’s recent win over Nottingham Forest, but Erik ten Hag was keen to add a more suitable player to play in that position.
Reguilon spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid, but the 26-year-old featured just 12 times across all competitions. The defender signed for Spurs in 2020, and has played 67 times in all competitions for the club.
