Bayern Munich target Joao Palhinha is returning to London after seeing his move from Fulham collapse this evening.
As reported yesterday, a deal for Palhinha was entirely dependent on Fulham finding a replacement for the combative midfielder.

However, after a last-ditch attempt to sign Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay was turned down by the Scottish international, Fulham pulled the plug on the Palhinha move.
As filmed by Sky Sports Germany’s Ben Heckner, Palhinha is now on his way home with his tail between his legs on a flight to London.

It is still unclear if Palhinha will play a part in Fulham’s match against Manchester City tomorrow after the squad traveled to the North West of England whilst the 28-year-old was on his way to Munich in an attempt to secure a move.
