Super Lig champions Galatasaray have completed the double-signing of Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez from Tottenham Hotspur.
The pair have failed to make the impact expected of them since arriving in North London and were deemed surplus to requirements by Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou earlier this summer.

Nbombele, who spent last season on loan at Serie A winners Napoli, has signed for the Champions League qualifiers on a season-long loan. The Frenchman passed his medical in Istanbul last night and has been immediately included in Galatasaray’s squad for their upcoming Champions League campaign.
This will be Nbombele’s third consecutive loan spell away from Tottenham after he became the club’s record signing in the summer of 2019 under then-head coach Mauricio Pochettino. The 26-year-old will wear the number 91 shirt this season.

As for Sanchez, the Colombian central defender arrives in Istanbul on a permanent deal after signing a four-year contract with the option of a further year. Taking a huge loss to get Sanchez off their wage bill, Spurs have accepted a fee of $10.2m for the 27-year-old which will be paid in installments over the next five years.
Galatasaray will face Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Copenhagen in a tough-to-call Champions League group stage- which starts in a fortnight’s time.
