Premier League winner Kasper Schmeichel has completed his move to Belgian side Anderlecht on a free transfer after his contract was canceled by Ligue 1 side Nice.
As reported earlier this week, Schmeichel had been deemed surplus to requirements and had been replaced in the team by Pole Marcin Bulka.

The 36-year-old veteran is currently preparing for his nation’s Euro 2024 qualifiers against San Marino and Finland at the weekend.
Anderlecht CEO Jesper Fredberg said of his new recruit, “The signing of Kasper Schmeichel fits our desire to have top competition in all positions. Kasper can be of enormous value to this club with his experience, on and off the pitch.”
Schmeichel will wear the number 33 shirt for The Mauve and will compete with Frenchman Maxime Dupe for the number-one spot this season.
