Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq are set to make a sensational last-ditch move to sign Manchester United’s winger Jadon Sancho on a season-long loan.
The Saudi transfer window is set to shut tonight at 10 PM BST (5 PM ET) and according to CBS Sports writer James Benge, the Commandos hope that the opportunity of a fresh start can tempt Sancho to depart Old Trafford temporarily.
Al-Ettifaq set to make dramatic late loan move for Jadon Sancho. Steven Gerrard's side would be prepared to offer a buy option too but given limited time a standard loan may be only possibility. Sancho's view on interest remains unknown. https://t.co/ecxx9QMifc

Jadon Sancho set for Saudi switch?
The side managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, completed the $10m signing of winger Damarai Gray from Everton today and now they want Sancho to join the Jamaican in creating a potent-looking attack this season.
Sancho was involved in a high-profile falling out with Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag following his side’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday, in which the Dutch manager criticized his attitude to training after the game.
Via his social media platforms, Sancho publically reacted to the criticism, saying he had been made a scapegoat for United’s difficulties at the beginning of the season.
It remains to be seen if Sancho is open to the move with Al Ettifaq offering United a straight loan without a buy option at this stage.
