Premier League giants Liverpool are set to come back in for Brazilian midfielder Andre after having an approach blocked this summer.
The 22-year-old has already made his Brazilian international debut and has starred for a Fluminense side that has won two consecutive Taca Guanabara and Campeonato Carioca titles.
Andre set for Liverpool move in January?
According to Fabrizio Romano, Fluminense president Mario Bittencourt said of his hot young property Andre, “Liverpool contacted me directly for André. I told their director: My friend, I don’t sell André now.

Fluminense are currently midway through their league season and are fifth in the Brazilian Serie A table, sitting in the qualification places for the Copa Libertadores- South America’s answer to the UEFA Champions League.
On a personal note, Andre was included in the Serie A Team of the Year last season and has already made over 150 appearances for the club.
A deal to take the highly defensive midfielder to Merseyside could well be completed when the Serie A season comes to an end later this year, however, with Bittencourt adding: “If you want to buy now to bring him in January, we can start talking. Or if you want to wait until December, we can do it”.
