Caden Clark signs for Minnesota United
The United States under-20 international is currently on loan at Danish club Vendsyssel FF and will complete his loan spell before moving back to the MLS next year.
Clark has jumped at the opportunity of re-setting his development in his hometown state after failing to break into the first team at Champions League outfit Leipzig.
Head coach Adrian Heath said of his club’s new signing: “He’s a Minnesota kid. He’s coming home.”
After breaking into the New York Red Bulls side during the Covid-affected 2020-2021 season, Clark was loaned back to the Red Bulls by sister club Leipzig where he failed to settle.
Whilst playing for the USMNT under-20 side, Clark won the CONCACAF under-20 Championship last year.
