USMNT star midfielder Gio Reyna has made his return to action for Borussia Dortmund in an under-23 match today.
The US star has yet to feature for club or country this season after being ruled out with a foot injury he picked up whilst on international duty in June but the 20-year-old was pictured back on the field by Borussia Dortmund’s official social media platforms this afternoon.

Gio Reyna makes return to action
The news is a huge boost for both Dortmund and the USMNT, who will still miss Reyna’s creativity ahead of their friendlies against Uzbekistan and Oman over the coming week.
Reyna was a hair’s breadth away from picking up his first Bundesliga title last season, providing both assists in his last match for the Yellow and Blacks in a 2-2 draw at home to Mainz, which effectively surrendered the trophy to rivals Bayern Munich.
