Liverpool are interested in making a move for West Ham United defender Nayef Aguerd next summer.
However, according to reports in the Sun, the Reds could face competition to sign the 27-year-old, as the defender is also on the shortlist of targets at Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp is keen to add to his defensive options in 2024, and a move for West Ham’s Nayef Aguerd is considered an option.
Aguerd has been a standout player for the Hammers since moving to the London Stadium from Rennes in 2022. The defender was a standout player in the club’s run to Europa Conference League glory last term.
The 27-year-old is also proven at international level, having represented Morocco on 30 occasions. He was a pivotal star in the nation’s run to the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup late last year.
