Manchester United have been linked with a sensational move for free agent Anwar El Ghazi.

The winger is available on a free transfer after being released by PSV Eindhoven at the end of last season, and the Red Devils are reportedly interested, according to the Mail.

United could be set to enter the free agent market after talks between Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag saw the two fail to reach a compromise.

The Dutchman feels that his side is now light in the final third of the field, and El Ghazi is seen as a player with Premier League experience that could help fill the void.

El Ghazi came through the youth ranks at Ajax, before moving to Lille in 2016. In 2019, he signed for Aston Villa on a permanent deal, and scored 26 goals across 119 appearances in all competitions.

However, he left Villa Park in 2022 after signing for PSV. He enjoyed an impressive first season in the Eredivisie after scoring nine goals in 31 matches in all competitions.
