Jadon Sancho’s career stalls at Man United
Following United’s 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on September 3 before the international break, manager Erik Ten Hag stated Sancho had been left out of the matchday squad due to “his performances in training”.
Taking to Twitter, Sancho posted his retort, “I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”
Sancho has since deleted the post; the first public indication of a step towards a resolution. However, in the days after Sancho’s response, it has been revealed United were prepared to sanction a permanent exit away from Old Trafford whilst the transfer windows were still open in Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
Despite speculation linking Sancho with a last-day move to Al Ettifaq, a loan move was not agreed on with United only in the mood to accept a permanent transfer for the 23-year-old.
