Bayern Munich are set to allow Julian Nagelsmann an early release from his deal, as the coach has his sights set on taking charge of the German national team.
The coach was axed at Bayern earlier this year, but he is still contracted with the German giants until 2026.
He had been a target for the vacancies at PSG and Tottenham, but neither club was prepared to match the compensation demanded by the German champions.
Bayern Munich to open door for Julian Nagelsmann
Nagelsmann could now be set to take the national team job, as he is seen as the ideal replacement by German national team director Rudi Voller.
Bayern Munich are willing to sanction the deal, as they understand the importance of Germany’s chances at the EUROs next summer, according to Bild.
However, Bayern will only be open to the offer if the national side covers his full salary, and if they receive assurances from Nagelsmann that he will take the Germany job if they release him from his contract.
