David Moyes has refused to rule out the move that would see Jesse Lingard offered a permanent deal at West Ham United.
Speaking to Talksport, the manager revealed that he had been impressed by the 30-year-old in training, and that the club could potentially offer the player a deal if all parties are happy.
Jesse Lingard open to West Ham return
Lingard has been training with West Ham throughout the summer, as he looks to maintain his fitness while he searches for a new permanent club.
The 30-year-old was released by Nottingham Forest at the end of the 2022-23 season, as he failed to score in 17 Premier League appearances for the Premier League newcomers.
However, a full-time return to the London Stadium could spark a revival for the former England international. Lingard enjoyed an excellent loan spell in East London in 2020-21, as he scored nine goals in 16 Premier League appearances.
