Chelsea central defender Trevor Chalobah is expected to leave the club in January after missing out on a move to Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day.
The 24-year-old utility man turned down a move to Nottingham Forest after the Midlanders agreed a fee with Chelsea in favor of a move to Bayern. Chalobah was reportedly excited about working with Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel once more following their stint together at Stamford Bridge.

Forest may come back in for the defender, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, after being convinced to splash out over $31m for Chalobah on September 1 before being rebuffed by the player.
Chalobah worked with Forest manager Steve Cooper during their time together at England youth level. It is yet to be determined if Bayern will match the Tricky Trees’ offer in January, with Bayern understood to have preferred a loan switch before time ran out on a transfer during the last hours of the window.
