Inter Milan will open talks with Federico Dimarco over a new deal over the coming days.
It has been revealed by Inter’s CEO Marotta that they are keen to offer the full-back a new deal, and talks will reportedly take place ‘very’ soon, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Federico Dimarco set to be rewarded with new deal
Dimarco was one of Inter’s standout players throughout the 2022-23 season, and there was interest in the full-back throughout the summer from clubs around Europe.
However, the Italian giants were able to fight off interest in the 25-year-old.
The left-back came through the youth academy at Inter, before joining Sion in 2017. However, he returned to the San Siro giants in 2018, and was an ever-present in their run to the Champions League final last term.
Since returning to the club in 2019, Dimarco has played 100 times for Inter across all competitions, scoring eight times.
