Manchester United knocked back Besiktas in their approach surrounding a permanent move for Hannibal Mejbri earlier this week.
However, the Turkish side are still keen to get the deal over the line, and they could instead look to concentrate on a loan deal, according to The Sun.

Besiktas had been confident of completing a deal for the 20-year-old midfielder earlier this week.
However, their permanent approach was turned down by United. It remains to be seen whether the midfielder has a role to play in Erik ten Hag’s squad this season, as he has been training with the first-team squad throughout the summer.
The Tunisian international spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Championship side Birmingham City. He became an important member of the Blues team, playing 41 times across all competitions.
Mejbri is already proven at international level, as he has represented Tunisia on 26 occasions since 2021.
