Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson has signed a one-year contract extension at the club.
The 31-year-old goal poacher, who was a second-half substitute in England’s 3-1 win over Scotland on Tuesday night, has committed his future to the club for a further year after an excellent season with the Magpies last term.

If he sees out his contract, Wilson will stay at St James’ Park until June 2025.
Wilson joined the Magpies from Bournemouth in 2020 following the Cherries’ relegation from the Premier League and has gone from strength to strength since the appointment of his old boss Eddie Howe.
In all competitions, Wilson has scored an impressive 40 goals from 86 appearances- averaging a strike rate of almost one in two.
Speaking of his new deal, the England international said, “I’m delighted to extend my time here. It’s a fantastic football club.
“There’s so many fantastic names that have been before me at Newcastle – goalscorers who have worn the number nine – and it’d be nice to join them in the record books during my time here.”
