Julian Draxler has officially completed his $21.5m transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Qatari side Al Ahli SC.
The German international, 29, moves to Doha on a permanent deal and has signed a contract valid until June 2025.
Julian Draxler leaves PSG on permanent deal
As reported by Soccer Times last week, Draxler had not played for Paris Saint-Germain since March 2022. It is widely understood his lack of viable first-team opportunities led to the former Schalke wonderkid giving the move to Doha the green light on Friday.
Draxler successfully completed his medical examinations on Sunday and joins a club that currently sits second bottom of the Qatar Stars League after losing each of their opening three games.
The experienced German wide man, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, draws a six-and-a-half-year spell in the French capital to a close after winning four Ligue 1 titles with the Parisians.
After spending last season on loan with Portuguese giants Benfica, Draxler will now wear the number seven jersey for the Brigadier.
