And speaking after his side’s fifth victory in a row which took them back to the top of La Liga last night, the Uruguayan international confirmed he had rejected approaches from the Premier League this summer to stay at Real.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the box-to-box midfielder only wants to play for the Meringues at the moment, adding: “Premier League offers? I have the ability to play for Real. The day I don’t feel like that, I’m probably going to look for another solution or Real itself will look for one for me.”
