The problem was expected to keep him out for up to three months but during the final periods of his rehabilitation, the wing-wizard suffered an injury to the same hamstring which will keep him out of action for the foreseeable future as reported by The Athletic’s Matt Woosnam.

Was making good progress towards a return but will now face a further period of time out, having not played at all so far this season. #CPFC https://t.co/rKKEhhRT8T

Olise was scouted by Chelsea and Manchester City this summer. The Cityzens decided not to pursue their initial interest in Olise over concerns about his hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Chelsea went ahead in activating Olise’s release clause in his contract only for the 21-year-old to reject the move in favor of signing a new four-year contract with the Eagles.
Olise became the first Palace player ever to claim 1o or more assists in a Premier League campaign last season and the youngest ever player to register three assists from open play in a top-flight English match.
