Former Liverpool midfielder and TV Pundit Graeme Souness has called Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba “a lazy t***” in a foul-mouthed tirade on Tuesday night.

Souness, 70, has been no stranger to criticizing Pogba over the years and did so on several occasions during his time as a pundit on Sky Sports whilst the French international was at Manchester United between 2016 and 2022.

Speaking at a Second Captains podcast live event in Dublin last night, the former Scotland captain said, “If you remember how he used to take penalties, that was him wanting to be the star of the show for that period of time.”

Pogba is currently suspended by Juventus after testing positive for testosterone last month and is awaiting to hear of his punishment.

Responding to whether he believed he had ever been unfair about Pogba, Souness said in front of a live audience, “Not for a nanosecond, no, he’s a lazy t***.”
