Tottenham Hotspur wing-back Ivan Perisic has suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury in his right knee.
According to Tottenham’s official social media platforms, the Croatian tore a muscle following a non-contact incident during training ahead of Spurs’ North London derby against Arsenal on Sunday.
We can confirm that Ivan Perisic has suffered a complex Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in his right knee.
The experienced Croatia international sustained the injury in non-contact training and will undergo surgery.

Ivan Perisic tears ACL in right knee
The serious injury is likely to keep the former Inter Milan and Bayern Munich player out of action for up to six months.
A legend in his homeland of Croatia, Perisic will now concentrate on regaining his fitness ahead of his country’s participation in next summer’s European Championships in Germany- likely to be the last tournament of his playing career.
A consistent and hard-working professional, Perisic has won the Bundesliga, Serie A, and the Champions League and is also a World Cup World Cup runner-up.
