Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas has signed a new contract extension with the Reds today.
The 27-year-old Greek has largely had to play second fiddle at Anfield behind Scotland captain Andy Robertson, making only 36 Premier League appearances for Liverpool in over three years.

Upon signing a new deal, Tsimikas said, “I feel very glad to be here to extend my contract. I feel like all the sacrifices I did and other things, the work I put in, [that] everything pays off.
I think this team has very big potential to win more trophies and we will go for it. Everybody, I think, is 100 percent there [and] focused for the next games and everybody is ready to achieve big things in the future.”
Tsimikas joined Liverpool from Olympiacos in 2020 and is set to get some minutes against Leicester City in the League Cup on Wednesday.
