Ousmane Diomande has revealed that he is happy at Sporting Lisbon, despite the fact that the 19-year-old is attracting interest from Arsenal and Man City.

The Premier League heavyweights have been interested in the defender throughout the summer, but the Sporting star isn’t thinking of a move away from Lisbon at present, according to O Bola.

Diomande has been catching the attention since breaking into the Sporting side. Arsenal appear to be the front runners for the defender, and the Gunners could meet the player’s $80 million release clause.

The Ivorian international came through the youth ranks at Danish side Midtjylland, before signing for Sporting Lisbon in 2023. He completed the move on the winter deadline in 2023.

The defender has been a standout player for the Portuguese giants, and has played 23 matches across all competitions since February, scoring on three occasions.
