New Chelsea signing Moises Caicedo has had his wages revealed by the owner of his sports agency.
Caicedo moved to the Blues from Brighton and Hove Albion for a British transfer record fee understood to be an eye-watering $140m including add-ons.
Moises Caicedo’s contract details revealed
The 21-year-old signed an eight-year contract at Chelsea, with an option of a further year, and according to Epic Sports agency owner Ali Barat has enjoyed a pay increase which will see him earn two and a half times the money he was previously on at the Seagulls.
Speaking to Tuttosport, Barat openly revealed, “Chelsea did an excellent investment by signing Moisés. The player will receive £150,000 per week, he was on £60,000 per week at Brighton”.

The sum equates to $182,000 at current value, a $110,000 weekly salary increase from the contract Caicedo was on last season at the Amex Stadium.
The defensive midfielder has yet to find his form this season and was badly at fault on his debut when he gave away a penalty in the Blues’ 3-1 defeat at London rivals West Ham last month.
