Ex-Manchester United star Jesse Lingard has been pictured in an Al Ettifaq shirt amid speculation he will sign for the Pro League side on a short-term deal.
The 30-year-old attacking midfielder is currently training with Steven Gerrard’s side for one month to keep his fitness but is believed to be using the time as a trial to earn a full time contract.

Head coach Gerrard is reportedly monitoring Lingard’s progress and will be a key factor in the decision making process.
Premier League side West Ham pulled out of the race this week to sign Lingard on a free transfer with manager David Moyes happy with the midfield options available to him after signing James Ward-Prowse, Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus this summer.
