Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has revealed Ben Chilwell’s injury looks more serious than first thought.
Speaking before the Blues’ West London derby against Fulham on Monday, Pochettino said, “It’s bad news — the doctor told me it’s not good thing,” as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

Mauricio Pochettino sweats over Ben Chillwell injury
It was reported yesterday that Chelsea’s vice-captain underwent a scan to investigate the extent of the hamstring injury he suffered at the end of the Blues’ Carabao Cup win on Wednesday night.
Chilwell is Pochettino’s first-choice left-back and with Lewis Hall sold and Marc Cucurella out-of-form and out-of-favor under the Argentine head coach, the Blues are now in significant trouble.
“It doesn’t look good, we’re really sad”, Pochettino added, suggesting that Chilwell may have torn his hamstring rather than just a pull.
If so, the England international will be out of action for a minimum of four weeks, just as he was starting to hit top form.
