Inter Milan transfer news: Romelu Lukaku set to stay at San Siro?
During his loan spell, the former Everton, Manchester United, and West Bromwich Albion hitman initially struggled to prove his fitness to manager Simeone Inzaghi, which led to reports that Inter were not going to take up the option of signing Lukaku on a permanent basis.
However, since the season re-started following the conclusion of the World Cup, Lukaku has only missed one match as his presence on the side has grown gradually. Lukaku’s penalty in the 2-0 away win at Benfica helped his side set up an all Milan semi-final in the Champions League against rivals AC Milan.
