Arsenal midfielder Reiss Nelson has turned down the offer of a new contract to stay at the club.
The 23-year-old’s current deal at Arsenal runs out at the end of the season meaning the midfielder can move to another club for free on 1 July. And according to Fabrizio Romano, the Arsenal youth academy graduate has today rejected the first new contract proposal made by the Gunners with clubs from England and Europe also circling around Nelson.

Nelson’s impressive performances off the bench in a successful season for the Gunners have gained him many suitors, including AC Milan, and it is believed the England under-21 international is weighing up his options before committing his future to his current employers whilst negotiations remain ongoing as Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta fights to prevent one of their best young players leave the club for free.
