England international Jude Bellingham will reject the offer of a one-year contract extension from Borussia Dortmund in order to push through a move to Real Madrid.
The 19-year-old midfielder has had another exceptional season for the Black and Yellows and scored two goals in Dortmund’s emphatic 6-0 win over Wolfsburg, taking his tally to 13 goals in all competitions this term.
Teenager Jude Bellingham set for summer move to Real Madrid
According to German newspaper BILD however, Bellingham’s immediate future appears to be away from the Westfalenstadion with the teenager set to turn down an improved contract from the Germans worth around $15.3m a year to sign for Real Madrid on a deal worth an incredible $22m a year which will immediately make him one of the highest paid players at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Bellingham is confident he will be able to dislodge the long-standing midfield pairing of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, who prepare for the visit of Man City in tonight’s Champions League semi-final first leg in Madrid.
