French forward Ousmane Dembele has been offered a new five-year contract to stay at Barcelona.
According to reputable Spanish journalist Luis Rojo, the French wideman who cost the Catalan giants $115m from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2017 has been offered an opening contract offer with his current deal set to expire in 2024.

Catalan giants want to keep hold of French superstar
World Cup winner Dembele has played a big part in why Xavi Hernandez’s men sit 13 points clear at the top of La Liga and Barca will clinch the league title on Sunday night if they win at their bitter Catalan rivals Espanyol.
The penny seems to have finally dropped for the once erratic French winger as the 25-year-old’s consistent performances this season have kept Spanish wonderkid Ansu Fati out of the team, leading to speculation about the youngster’s own future. And with his current deal including a $54.5m buy-out clause which can be activated this summer, Xavi is determined to keep Dembele at the Nou Camp for the long term.
