According to leading transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Paredes has not impressed Juve bosses enough to extend his deal beyond the end of the season after signing on a season-long loan with an option to buy on deadline day last summer from Paris Saint-Germain.

As for former Man United and Real Madrid winger Di Maria, the 35-year-old will now explore options as a free agent after talks broke down over a new deal earlier this month after what has been a turbulent season for The Old Lady, who were deducted 10 points on Monday as they dropped to seventh in Serie A.
