Departing Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino could be set for a sensational move to Real Madrid this summer.
The 31-year-old Brazilian gave Liverpool fans one final gift with a goal in his last match for the Reds in Sunday’s 4-4 draw with already relegated Southampton at St Mary’s.
Is Brazilian Firmino set for Merengues’ move?
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Firmino is one of a handful of names written up by Real Madrid bosses to help support club captain Karim Benzema next season.

Firmino arrived at Anfield from Hoffenheim back in 2015 for a figure of around $35m under former manager Brendan Rodgers and won every trophy possible during his time with Liverpool, winning the Premier League, the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, the FA Cup, and the League Cup.
So far, the talks around Firmino’s move are merely internal but Real will have to make a move quickly to secure the Brazilian’s services with Barcelona also believed to be interested.
