Tottenham turn to fifth candidate in their pursuit of a new manager
And according to Sky Sports, Celtic’s terrific season has impressed Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy enough to offer Postecoglou the vacant Spurs hot seat after a number of setbacks in his pursuit of a new head coach.
Following rejections from Julian Nagelsmann, Vincent Kompany, Ruben Amorim, and most recently Feyenoord’s Arne Slot, Levy will hope that Postecoglou proves to be fifth-time lucky for Spurs.
Following the dismissal of head coach Antonio Conte in March after a disappointing 3-3 draw at Southampton, Tottenham have now been without a permanent manager in charge of the club for 66 days and counting.
