USA international Timothy Weah is reportedly edging closer to finalizing a $10 million move to Juventus this summer.
The Lille striker has been a long-term target for the Old Lady, and the deal could be agreed as soon as the transfer window formally opens, according to Goal.
Weah close to Juventus transfer
Timothy Weah, the son of 1995 Ballon d’Or winner George, has been a mainstay in European soccer since coming through the youth academy at PSG. The striker only played five times for the Parisians, but enjoyed a good loan spell at SPL giants Celtic in 2019.
Weah played a key role in securing a treble for the Glasgow-based side, and he was quickly snapped up by Ligue 1 club Lille in 2019. The American international has scored eight goals in 107 games for the French club, but failed to net in 29 league outings in 2022-23.
Juventus appear keen to conclude the deal, as they look to add to their reinforcements in the attacking third, with Dusan Vlahovic nearing the exit door.
