Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Jude Bellingham has signed for Spanish giants Real Madrid for $110m.
The news was released on Dortmund’s official club website and an announcement stated that add-ons could amount to 30% of the fixed amount. An agreement has now been signed between the two clubs and Bellingham will join Los Blancos on a sign-year contract until June 2029.
Jude Bellingham swaps Bundesliga for La Liga
Bellingham is expected to be given the number seven shirt vacated by the early departure of Eden Hazard last week and will complete all accompanying medicals in Madrid later this week.
The 19-year-old sensation missed the last two matches in Dortmund’s eventual unsuccessful title run-in with a knee injury but the problem isn’t believed to be a serious one. Bellingham scored 14 goals in all competitions last term for Dortmund; his best return in a single campaign in his career so far.
