Kylian Mbappe has today replied to an article about him wanting to join Real Madrid this summer on Twitter.
Responding to a piece written in the French newspaper Le Parisien in which Dominique Severac states Mbappe wants to join Real Madrid this summer, the World Cup winner wrote “Lies. At the same time, the bigger it is, the more it passes. I have already said that I will continue next season at PSG, where I am very happy.
MENSONGES…❌
En même temps plus c’est gros plus ça passe. J’ai déjà dis que je vais continuer la saison prochaine au PSG où je suis très heureux. https://t.co/QTsoBQvZKU— Kylian Mbappé (@KMbappe) June 13, 2023
World star Kylian Mbappe ready for Real Madrid move?
As reported earlier today, the Frenchman has insisted he won’t sign the 12-month contract extension beyond its current expiry date of 2024 and according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, PSG have made it clear to their star asset to either extend his deal with the Ligue 1 champions or leave this summer.
However, in a statement to AFP News Agency, Mbappe stated, “I have never discussed any contract renewal with PSG. The board has been informed since July 15th, 2022 of my decision not to extend beyond 2024- and the letter sent was only meant to confirm what I already told them”.
The situation is reportedly very tense between Mbappe and PSG club owners who are reported to be furious with their star asset and according to reports, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have already ruled themselves out of the race to sign the 24-year-old.
