Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Benfica forward Goncalo Ramos for $100m this summer.
As reported earlier this week, the Red Devils are currently keeping tabs on Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojland after cutting short their pursuit of Harry Kane early. And according to The Sun’s Jordan Davies, Ramos could fit the bill at Old Trafford next season following his 25 goals last term.
Benfica holding out for $100m for Goncalo Ramos
Ramos is a client of Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes, who represents world stars such as Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo, and he is reportedly trying to link the Portuguese international with the Old Trafford club. The Portuguese champions will not accept any bid less than $100m, after selling fellow striker Darwin Nunez to United’s rivals Liverpool last summer for $110m.
Ramos grabbed the attention on the world stage following his hattrick in the round of 16 against Switzerland after replacing Ronaldo in the starting line-up.
