Manchester United could be set to step up their interest in Monaco defender Axel Disasi over the coming weeks.
The Red Devils remain interested in the 25-year-old, and could put forward an opening bid after appearing to fall short in their attempts to land Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae.
Man United in the market for Disasi
United appear to have come up short in their attempt to sign Kim, as Bayern Munich have leap-frogged the Premier League giants in the race to sign the 26-year-old.
However, the Red Devils have a huge interest in Disasi, and could formalize that interest over the coming weeks, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Monaco defender was seen playing for France over the weekend, and made three appearances during the World Cup. The central defender also played 38 times in Ligue 1 last season, scoring three goals and registering three assists for Monaco.
