Bayern Munich are considering a move for Villarreal central defender Pau Torres if Lucas Hernandez leaves for Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The 26-year-old is believed to fit the profile Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel is looking for with a left-footer preferred at this stage to cover for the left side of central defense.

The Bavarian giants are however expected to receive a battle from Premier League outfit Aston Villa for Torres’ signature, as stated by Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, with former Villarreal boss Unai Emery still a huge fan of the six ft three-inch defender.

Under Emery, Villarreal-born Torres won the UEFA Europa League in 2021, the first in the Yellow Submarine’s history.
As for Bayern’s left-back turned center-back Hernandez, a move to the French capital is looking increasingly likely after contract extension negotiations stalled between the 27-year-old and the German champions.
