Wolves set for a difficult clash with the champions

Premier League champions Manchester City have made a perfect start to their top-flight campaign so far this season, recording wins over Arsenal and last time out Huddersfield in a 6-1 hammering.

The Citizens travel to the Midlands to face Wolves in the Premier League’s early kick-off. Pep Guardiola’s side are heavy favourites to record another victory in Molineux.

It would take a brave man to back against the champions recording another away win in this clash.

Seagulls face a tough trip to Merseyside

Liverpool kicked off the Premier League season as the most likely challengers to City for the title. Jurgen Klopp’s side has underlined their title ambitions with a 4-0 win over West Ham before dispatching Crystal Palace 2-0 in their last outing.

The Reds will be confident of continuing that winning run as they welcome Brighton to Anfield in the Premier League’s late kick-off on Saturday.

The home side has now their last three top-flight games, scoring two or more in all three matches. The Reds have been particularly good at Anfield in the top-flight, winning six of their last seven league games on home soil.

The Reds have a formidable record at both ends of the pitch at Anfield of late. The Merseysiders have scored at least twice in ten of their last 11 league games on home soil, while also keeping clean sheets in their last six league outings at Anfield.

Brighton heads to Merseyside on the back of a 3-2 home win over Manchester United. The win ended a three-game losing run for Brighton in the top-flight. The Seagulls have a poor recent record in the top-flight, winning just two of their last 12 league games.

The visitors have been poor in defence in their latest top-flight games, conceding at least two goals in their last four league outings. Chris Hughton’s side has also been poor on their travels in the Premier League.

The visitors have failed to win in their last 14 away games in the top-flight while losing five of their last six outings in the Premier League. One of the biggest factors in Brighton’s poor away form is a lack of goals, as they have failed to score in nine of those 14 winless away games.
