Bayern Munich have made a second bid of $90m for Harry Kane in an attempt to prise him away from Tottenham.
The England captain, who will turn 30 later this month, is believed to be open to a move this summer after letting his contract at Spurs run down into its final season.
Harry Kane set for German champions?
According to the Guardian, Bayern submitted a first bid worth up to $76.7m last week which was immediately rejected but are now confident that this new figure will be enough for Kane to be able to force through a move.
Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel met Tottenham’s all-time record goalscorer at his home last week in an attempt to convince him of the club’s long-term project with Kane reportedly being left impressed.
In 14 years at Spurs, Kane has scored a fantastic tally of 280 goals in 435 matches in all competitions but has failed to win a single major honor in his time in North London.
