Serie A side Lazio have completed the signing of striker Taty Castellanos from MLS side New York City FC on a permanent deal.
The 24-year-old Argentinian proved to be a superb servent for the Cityzens during a four year spell at the club which brought an impressive record of 50 goals from just 109 MLS matches.

Castellanos will join the 2000 Serie A champions after enjoying a successful loan spell with City Football Group owned club Girona last season for whom he scored 13 La Liga goals in the Catalan’s first season back in the Spanish top flight.
The deal was announced via the club’s official social media profiles which minutes later also confirmed Girona will take Lazio on in a pre-season friendly on August 6 at the Stadio Montilivi.

The fee to be paid by The Eagles for Castellanos is reportedly set to be $16.75m.
