Serie A giants Inter Milan have submitted a second bid to West Ham United for Italian hitman Gianluca Scamacca.
The 24-year-old Italian international has struggled to settle in England since his big-money transfer from Sassuolo last season and despite arriving with a big reputation only managed three Premier League goals from 16 appearances for David Moyes’ side.
Gianluca Scamacca set for Inter Milan?
Inter Milan are currently on the lookout for a new striker and fill the void left by Edin Dzeko’s transfer to Fenerbahce and after Romelu Lukaku’s loan spell from Chelsea came to an end.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Nerazzuri have submitted a second offer worth $26.3m plus $4.4m. Negotiations will continue between the clubs even if the fee is not accepted by West Ham this time around after Scamacca agreed personal terms to a move earlier this week.

The move will likely end Inter’s interest in USMNT star Folarin Balogun after Arsenal priced the Italians out of a move this summer.
