Manchester United are set to make a move for Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo if Harry Maguire is sold this summer.
Todibo had interested United’s Premier League rivals Newcastle United earlier in the window but according to Fabrizio Romano, Todibo is Erik Ten Hag’s number one choice to replace ex-captain Maguire who is the subject of a $38.3m offer from West Ham United.

Jean-Clair Todibo interests Red Devils
United have made contact with Nice over a potential move for Todibo but have yet to submit a bid for the 23-year-old after Italian giants Juventus were priced out of a move for the former France under-20 international.
The Red Devils already have four first-choice central defenders ahead of next season meaning former Ajax boss Ten Hag will only make a move for Todibo if Maguire is sold- with both United and West Ham remaining in talks to find a solution for the 30-year-old after he was stripped of the captaincy in favor of attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes last month.
