Premier League outfit Bournemouth have followed Chelsea in triggering USMNT captain Tyler Adams’ $25.5m relegation release clause at Leeds United.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Cherries are now extremely optimistic about sealing a deal for the 24-year-old by the end of this week. Adams is the youngest American captain since 1950 and would be quite a coup for Androni Iraola’s side who started their second consecutive Premier League campaign with a 1-1 home draw with West Ham on Saturday.

After dealing with the disappointment of the news that Chelsea pulled the plug on his transfer on Friday, Adams is thought to be keen on a securing a move back to the Premier League as soon as possible.
