USMNT captain Tyler Adams is set to undergo a medical at Bournemouth later today as his deal worth $25.5m from Leeds United is back on.
The 24-year-old’s future has been subject of a lot of speculation this summer and until last Friday, it was expected Adams was set to move to Chelsea after Todd Boehly’s side triggered the relegation clause in his contract at Leeds.
Tyler Adams finally set to return to Premier League?
However, Adams saw his transfer to Chelsea collapse at the end of last week after the Blues’ walked away from the deal when hearing they had been successful in their attempts to sign both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
Speaking ahead of Bournemouth’s trip to Liverpool tomorrow, Androni Iraola said of Adams, “He’s a really good player. He has performed in the Champions League, national team experience.”
According to Fabrizio Romano, Adams will undergo medical tests in London this afternoon after the Cherries reached an agreement with Leeds with a deal set to be tied up in the next 24 hours. Tyler has already agreed personal terms with Bournemouth and is reportedly desperate to return to the Premier League.
