Trevoh Chalobah looks set to be one of the Chelsea players who will be allowed to leave the club before the transfer deadline on Friday.
Nottingham Forest have shown an interest in the defender, but the Englishman is reportedly holding out for a reunion with Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich, according to Football Insider.
Trevoh Chalobah waiting for Bayern Munich approach
The latest developments come as a blow for Forest, as Steve Cooper was hopeful of bringing the defender to the City Ground. However, the reports claim that the Englishman has turned down the opportunity to move to the East Midlands.
Instead, he will bide his time, and hope that Bayern Munich step up their interest before the deadline. A move from the Bundesliga giants appears likely, as they will be in the market for a defender after it emerged that Benjamin Pavard is edging closer to finalizing his move to Inter Milan.
Chalobah and Tuchel previously worked together during the German’s time at Stamford Bridge, and the defender was a regular starter under the coach toward the end of his reign.
