Arsenal central defender Rob Holding has moved to London rivals Crystal Palace on a three-year deal with just minutes of the transfer window remaining.
The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium over the past two seasons under head coach Mikel Arteta.
Rob Holding signs for Crystal Palace
The Gunners have decided to allow the Manchester-born defender leave on a cut-price deal of just $1.25m plus $3m in add-ons after spending seven loyal years at the club.

As reported earlier this week, La Liga clubs Sevilla and Mallorca had also discussed a move for Holding but sources close to the move believe it was always the English defender’s preference to stay in London.
Speaking as a Palace player for the first time, Holding said, “I’m excited to get started and get involved.
“Playing against Crystal Palace the number of years I have, seeing the fans and how intimidating Selhurst Park can be, and how loud it can get, I’m looking forward to being on the right side of that this time.”
